This year, Muna planned to celebrate her birthday in Palestine, where her family, friends and colleagues were planning a surprise birthday tribute in Ramallah on September 20. When Muna cancelled her trip due to the political situation, the people of Ramallah and Palestine didn’t cancel the surprise—they just came to New Jersey instead! Through this video, we can all be in the same room to wish Muna a Happy Birthday, to let her know how we feel about her and to celebrate the peace, joy and hope she brings with her everywhere she goes.
